Auburn Bike Park Debate Heats Up – Equestrians Still Fighting

Our little community park is getting a lot of attention thanks to some neighbors and several equestrians who continue to try to kill the project. Equestrians are mobilizing against the bike park, as on can see from the Facebook post below by ACE – Action Coalition for Equestrians. Why would they try to stop the bike park on a property that ARD manages and has every right to develop for the benefit of kids and families of Auburn? Bike Park Happenin’s – March 2015

It’s been a while since our last update but things are humming along nicely for the Auburn Bike Park! Our project sponsor – Auburn Recreation District (ARD) – is wrapping up the required environmental reviews for the project. Once done, these will go out for public comment (likely this May 2015) and a final vote soon follows in late June. Once finalized, we expect to be able to break ground possibly as early as this fall! We’ll keep everyone posted on the public comment and ARD Board meeting, because we’ll need your voice of support
